Q: How do I clean my covers?
A: It is very simple to clean your covers! Simply use a garden hose to rinse off the cover. This will clean off the dust, dirt, and other dirty particles so that they do not become stuck on your cover. For a deeper cleaning, a sponge or soft bristle brush can be used with mild soap and water. Avoid using harsh detergents, chemicals such as bleach and abrasive brushes and cleaning pads which can damage the surface of the fabric and reduce the superior water-resisting performance of the cover. Please note that most of our covers have a protective water repellent / UV treatment coating; excessive cleaning will reduce the effectiveness of the treatment coating. Machine washing of our covers should be avoided.

Q: How do I know what size cover I need to buy?
A: The best indicator of the fit would be comparing your dimensions with that of our covers. This applies to all of our covers. Please note that for patio table and chair sets, we suggest you measure both your table and chairs by the total length, width, and height and then compare those dimension with the dimension of our covers. We have a variety of size charts available to help you choose the right size cover. The size charts can be viewed from any of our web pages on the right side (except in the checkout cart screen), there is a banner titled “Sizing Charts”. Simply click on that banner and choose what type of cover you are looking for. If you cannot find your item on our size chart or have any questions about sizing, please feel free to call our toll free number at 1-800-952-2268.

Q: What is the difference between an enclosure and a cover?
A: An enclosure is for when the cart is in use (driving). A cover is for storage purposes.

Q: What if I have a 4 passenger golf cart with a shorter roof top?
A: If you have a 4 passenger golf cart but your roof is short (does not cover the back bench), then we make a specific golf cart driving enclosure and golf cart storage cover for this size. Please make sure you purchase the 4 passenger with the shorter roof top (fits up to roof length 60”) enclosure and cover.

Q: What if I have a year 2009 or newer Yamaha Drive golf cart?
A: If you have a year 2009 or newer Yamaha Drive (YDR) golf cart, then we have a specific 2 passenger golf cart driving enclosure made for that type of golf cart, you can find the link here.

Q: Do your patio table and chair covers come with a hole for the umbrella?
A: Yes, most of our patio tables set covers feature a unique center cap for the umbrella. There is a removable center cap that has Velcro to secure on/off. You have the option of removing the center cap for umbrella if you have a patio umbrella that you want to keep in the table. We also sell a patio umbrella cover that works to protect your umbrella and can easily be installed with our patio table set covers. If you don’t have an umbrella, or do not wish to store your umbrella in the patio table, just leave the center cap on and place the cover over your table and chair set. This is a unique feature only available at Formosa Covers!

Q: Do you make custom sized covers?
A: Most of our covers are designed for universal fit. We do not make custom covers at this time.

Q: If I buy a cover and it doesn't fit or I don't like it, can I return it?
A: Of course! Your satisfaction is our number one concern. We have a 14-day money back return policy. If you are not happy for any reason, we will gladly exchange or refund your money back to your original form of payment.

Q: How do I return a product?
A: We are here to assist you and we want to make the return process as simple as possible for our customers. If you have an item you wish to return or exchange, please contact Customer Service at 1-800-952-2268 during our business hours M-F 9am-5pm PST or email us at Jennifer@formosacovers.com. Return or exchange must be made within 14 business days with receipt upon receiving.

Q: Do I pay the shipping charges if I decide to return the cover?
A: Yes, you do pay the shipping to get the product back to us, unless the reason for the return is due to our mistake.

Q: Do you have "Free Shipping"?
A: No, we do not offer “Free Shipping”. We strive to offer our customers the best “factory direct” pricing on our products and try to save you money! We don’t try to play marketing “games” by offering “free shipping” by marking up our price of our products to cover shipping costs. At Formosa Covers, the shipping you pay is the same shipping cost we pay to our shipping carrier.

Q: Do you ship outside of the continental United States?
A: Yes, we ship internationally! International Customers: All customs duties including: taxes, fees, and all extra charges are the customer's responsibility and will be collected by the carrier upon delivery. Please consult your local customs office before placing a purchase for rates.

Q: I bought a cover from you, but it hasn't arrived yet. What do I do?
A: When your order leaves our warehouse you are sent a shipment confirmation notice, including a shipment tracking number. Go to www.fedex.com or www.usps.com and click on "Tracking". Enter your tracking number and you will see the details of your shipment. If you have any questions, please feel free to call our toll free number at 1-800-952-2268.

Q: I want to buy a cover for someone else. Can I buy it using my credit card, but have it shipped to another address?
A: Yes, we ship to locations which are different than the "Bill To" address. Our covers make perfect gifts!

Q: How can I place an order?
A: There are two ways that an order can be placed. The shopping cart on our website is a fast, easy and secure way to place an order. Or, if you would like to speak to a customer service representative, you can call our toll free number at 1-800-952-2268 and place your order with us.

Q: Is your website secure?
A: SSL is the de facto standard for creating a secure, encrypted link between a Web server and a browser, thus securing safe passage of sensitive information, such as credit card numbers. Formosa Cover Store uses SSL as a means to protect online transactions with our customers. Once a secure connection is established, SSL encrypts information sent from your browser to the Web server. There are two ways you can tell that our web site is secured. In the address bar, you will see an "https://" prefix in the URL. Also, in the browser's status bar, you will see a key or padlock icon indicating that our web site is secure.

Q: How do I contact customer service regarding other questions that are not listed here?
A: We are here to assist you! Our customer service department is always ready to answer any questions you may have. Our Customer Service Department is available Monday through Friday, from 9:00am to 5:00pm (Pacific Standard Time).

Q: What forms of payment are accepted?
A: We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover credit cards. We also accept PayPal.

Q: Will I be charged tax?
A: We are located in Irvine, California, thus we are required by law to charge sales tax of 8% if you are a California resident. You will not be charged sales tax if you live in any other state.

Q: How do I cancel or change my order?
A: We hope that you will not cancel your order with us. But if you do have to cancel your order, you can call our customer service department at 1-800-952-2268 and a representative will assist you. This also applies if you would like to change your order.

Q: Can I pay for expedited shipping?
A: Yes of course! You can pay for expedited shipping. For faster service to upgrade to expedited shipping, please contact customer service by phone at 1-800-952-2268 or e-mail at Jennifer@formosacovers.com.

Q: What if the diameter of my umbrella pole is bigger than the 3/4" diameter grommet on Formosa Covers replacement umbrella canopy?
Our grommet hole sizing only is available in one size - 3/4" diameter, however the grommet is mainly for cosmetic purposes.   If you need to make the hole larger, you can cut around the grommet to make larger for the canopy ti fit.  Once you screw back on the umbrella finial, it will not be a problem.  If you are afraid of the fabric edges from fraying, you can seal the edges with fabric glue, clear nail polish, or a inexpensive anti-fray treatment called Fray Clear or Fray Block.  Info on these anti-fray products can be found at the links below:
